Norwegian Ambassador to Lebanon Hilde Haraldstad welcomed the new media law, praising its potential to strengthen the right to freedom of expression and media freedom.
In a post on X, she said that Norway encourages Lebanon to implement and interpret the new law in line with its international commitments.
